Mambo is a 12 pound, 22 month old apricot poodle mix. Because of changes in his owners' work schedules, they were no longer able to give him the attention he deserved. Mambo is an energetic, spirited little guy who loves attention and people and does very well with children as well. He enjoys going for walks and will enthusiastically approach everyone he comes in contact with. Conversely, he enjoys cuddling and hanging out on the couch just as well - .if he sees a lap, he's heading for it! His energetic spirit requires limit setting at times, but he has responded well to this as well as to structure. Because he considers himself "top dog", he should go to a home where he is the only pet. It is also recommended that Mambo go to a home where he will not be left for long periods of time. He thrives on love and attention and so deserves it. .It has recently been determined that Mambo has patellar luxation, a condition common in small breeds, which is a congenital issue with their knees Thankfully, this has not been the cause of any mobility issues for Mambo.
