This lovely girl is Shelby. She was a stray that landed at the local shelter after she was found wandering the streets of the city. She is definitely under weight and needs to put on another 15lbs. Her ideal weight is around 50 lbs. Which should not take long as she LOVES to eat! Shelby is a sweet, cuddly, happy little girl. She gets along very well with the other dogs her size or larger in her foster home and does not seem to mind cats except for mild curiosity. Shelby does not do well with little dogs so should go to a home only with dogs her size or bigger. Shelby is a bundle of energy, loves to play tug o war, with people or the other dogs, and fetching a ball or sticks. But she is also just as happy to sit by you with her head in your lap. She is working on her house training and other basic obedience commands, and goes right into her crate when asked. She walks well on leash, but is a strong, busy girl so her new family should be active and able to give her the exercise and play time she needs.
