Meet Lacy, a 4 year old, short haired Chihuahua who was turned over to Lollypop Farm because she was not house trained (although the owner admitted to not allowing her outside!!) She is an incredibly sweet little girl who is very timid of new things, but so full of love and eager to lay on your lap as soon as you sit down! She definitely has a love for cats! In her foster home she immediately greeted the eldest cat and spent her whole exploration time following him around and laying down with him on the couch.
Lacy is a bit overweight and will need to be regularly exercised and kept on a diet. Due to her timidness and fearfulness starting out in a backyard or open park where there's not a lot of people around would really help get her adjusted to being outside regularly and taking walks. Due to the fact she wasn't let out previously she isn't house trained, but we are currently working with her on that. If you live in an apartment or second story complex, she doesn't mind going up stairs but is too scared to descend without being carried.
