ACD RESCUE ( HARLEY)
Ruby is a 4 year old Australian Cattle Dog. She is spayed, heartworm negative, micro chipped, and her vaccines are up to date. She weighs about 35-40 lbs. and is a smaller ACD. She is crate trained and housebroken.
She sits for you to take her leash on and off. She also sits for treats and takes them gently from your hand. She plays well with other dogs her size.
Ruby knows basic obedience and seeks out attention. She loves to give kisses and snuggle with you on the couch or bed. She is very well behaved, and constantly watches you for a command which would make her a good performance dog.
Ruby has a very motherly personally. She would do well with a family of kids to love and play with. Ruby is so excited to greet everyone that comes in the door she jumps on them. The foster mom is working on her jumping, children under the age of 5 are not recommended because they may get knock over. Ruby needs a family that has a fence in yard and NO cats.

We provide as much information on each animal's history, disposition and health as we can gather. Most of our dogs are from shelters and are strays, therfore we may not have any information at all on them, or what breed they are. We strongly believe that honesty is the best policy. We want each of our animals to find the RIGHT home, not just ANY home. Likewise, we want you to find the pet who best matches your lifestyle and interests. You will first be required to complete our adoption application. Once received, a WT rep will contact you via phone or e-mail. If it seems you are a good fit for each other based on the info you provided, a phone interview will follow. If you are renting, we require proof that you are allowed to have a pet as well as any breed or size restrictions that may exist. If you have pets or did previously, we require your vet information and we will call them to verify that your pets are in good health, current on vaccines and spayed/neutered. We require that all pets in the home be spayed/neutered unless there are health reasons that can be verified with the vet. The final step is a home visit, where an WT volunteer comes to your home to verify your home is a safe place for an animal. It is also a time where the volunteer can answer questions and discuss safety precautions. In our Adoption Agreement, we require that every animal be spayed/neutered prior to adoption this means every dog that is adopted from us will be spayed/neutered prior to going to a forever home. This is VERY important as the overpopulation of dogs and cats in our country is a sad result of too many unplanned litters! If for any reason the match is not as perfect as we all had hoped, the dog or cat must be returned to Wooftown, not given away or turned in to a shelter. Serious fines apply to violators of the Wooftown Agreement to Adopt. So be clear about what you are signing and be prepared to abide by the contract. It is legally binding and we take it very seriously.
