2 year old basset hound mix. in Rochester, New York

Hello, My name is Zeke and I am a basset hound mix. I am a very sweet boy looking for my forever home. I am almost two years old and have been well loved by my current family since I was 8 weeks old. I am very sweet and love to be around people. I would cuddle all day long if you let me! Unfortunately, my mom and dad just had a baby and although I think he?s pretty cool, he makes me nervous so my parents think I would be better off in a home with adults only, or older children. I attended obedience school when I was younger and I have learned some basic commands. I am neutered and up to date on all my shots I am crate and house trained. My trainer said that I want to be in a dominant role but am a bit unsure of myself right now which has led to some of my naughty behaviors. I have an older dog brother and we get along really well but I don?t care for other dogs very much, I prefer to have my people all to myself! Mom and dad keep me crated when they are at work, but I don?t mind because it keeps me out of trouble. I get nervous when they are gone and will sometimes eat things I?m not supposed to. I enjoy getting a little exercise each day, but mostly I like to lounge around someplace warm. Mom says I give the best cuddles and I am great at keeping the covers warm at night! She also says I?m better than an alarm clock, because I never let her forget when it?s time to feed me! If you think I am the right dog for you, Please contact my mom so we can set up a time to meet.
