ADOPTION FEE
Adoption fee waived 06/05/13 - She is doing very well here. We have been working on her anxiety issues and her aggression. She has never been that way with me though. It's taken about 3 weeks for her to bond with my boyfriend. She has made him her official belly scratcher. She follows me everywhere in the house. If I go upstairs she does and if I come back down, she does. LOL She isn't charging anyone anymore but she is more afraid of men than women. Every time the dryer buzzer goes off it still scares her but again she is making great strides and she really is a very loveable dog, 05/11/13 - Wilma has been in my Foster care for two weeks now and what a love! She follows me everywhere and sleeps next to my bed all night. I do let her up on the bed in the wee hours of the morning. She loves the freedom of the backyard but I haven't convinced her yet that the doggie door is safe. We're working on that. She doesn't like to have her picture taken. I always seem to get her backside. She on the shy side. She is very protective of me and seems more aggressive towards company if I'm in the house. If my staff comes into the house and I'm not here she barks and backs down. We like our cuddle time on the sofa at night and loves pillows! Wilma loves walks and is extremely loyal. There is nothing but love from her.
04/28/13 - Wilma arrived yesterday afternoon and I'm thrilled to have her. I've walked her around the house and took her outside to the backyard. So far so good. She doesn't know what to do with the doggie door as of yet but that will come in time. She has given me lots of kisses that almost qualifies as a bath. She has drank some water but except for a few treats hasn't eaten as of yet. She slept in the bed with me last night on top of my legs. Of course noises spook her. She does follow me all over the house. If I'm in the office she cuddles up on the futon that's in the office.:)
My staff in the store couldn't wait to meet her so I let them come in one at a time as to not to over whelm her. She has barked some but she is starting to relax some. I am keeping the Thunder shirt on her for now. She is an extremely loving dog and I think in time she can over come most her anxiety issues.
12/21/12 ? Wilma loves to play fetch, go on walks, snuggle up to you on the couch, lick your face to wake you up in the morning when she needs to go out.. It breaks our heart to give her up but in the end it will be best for everyone involved. She needs to live with someone who does not have kids or other animals and doesn?t plan on having them. She is great in the house, she can be left alone and wouldn?t destroy a thing, she won?t even eat her treats/rawhide until you return. She loves her crate and has no qualms going inside however she does not like to be in it at night and will whimper/howl if she is in it overnight. She should never need to be crated though in her new home without other pets. She also knows a number of commands, sit, lay down, paw, leave it, drop it. She knows stay but doesn?t always listen, she is also good about loose leash walking unless something along the way stresses her out. The only medication she is on is Prozac, she takes one 40mg pill every night with a little bit of peanut butter. She needs to go to someone who understands dogs with behavioral issues and has the patience to work with her. It is a very sad situation because 99% of the time she is the best dog in the world.
09/21/12 ? Unfortunately Wilma (originally known as Cassie) is back to find a new home. She was adopted as a 5 month old puppy from us 3 years ago and they say she is a very loving, loyal, sweet girl and 99% of the time she is a perfect
