Sophie is a young girl around 1 yr old who loves people and loves to please. She is learning fast. She joined RTPA in December when she was displaying signs of pregnancy in a local shelter. We have since learned it was a false pregnancy thanks to our vet. She will be going in to be spayed and have all her vetting done then be ready for a home of her own. This little girl is a bit of a mystery as far as breed mixture is concerned. The shelter listed her as a 7mth old husky mix when we took her but we think she is probably closer to one year. Also not sure of the mix but suspect terrier, maybe beagle and husky? Whatever she is, it is adorable and she listens so well. Point to her crate and she runs into it. Now house trained, knows sit, down and shake although best at sit and still working on the others. Housed with other dogs and cats, she does well with all. Loves to play and is gentle when she does. She is about 40 lbs but now that we know she isn't pregnant needs take off a few of those pounds off. We were overfeeding her as it turns out. Sophie is a wonderful girl with personality plus. Gets along with all, loves to cuddle and listens well. If you are looking to add a new dog to your family, please consider meeting with this girl to see if she is the right one for your family.
