Havanese - Rosco - Small - Adult - Male - Dog
6 year old Rosco was surrendered to Rescued Treasures by a family who could no longer keep him. He joined the rescue with another dog (Cody) who is also on our website. It appears that Rosco was not given the proper amount of training and socializing with other dogs as a puppy. He would do well in a home with older children and no other pets, because he has some food and toy possessiveness. His foster has been working on this problem. He has made great strides in the last couple of months, but his new owner still needs to continue to keep him in line. Rosco is a loving, friendly boy with people and only wants to be loved and snuggle. He sleeps on his foster's bed along with several other dogs, but those dogs have to be in place before Rosco is allowed on the bed. Otherwise, his possessive streak kicks in. It would be great if Rosco and Cody could be adopted together, but it isn't a must. Roscoe has the makings of a wonderful companion as his training is continued in his forever home.
