Happy healthy small breed mix for adoption in Rochester, New York

I have been helping homeless pets for years and recently was contacted by a person I used to work with who had a small dog that was at the police station and was "too nice to be euthanized." After agreeing to take the dog and transport him from downstate area to Rochester, he was neutered and brought up to date with all shots (Rabies, DHLP, and Bordatella), and implanted with a "Home Again" ID microchip. He is about 2-3 years old, weighs around 18 lbs, and appears to be a poodle mixed with something like a Cairn Terrier, Lhasa Apso, Bishon Friese, or similar dog. He is a very sweet guy who does well with other animals (cats & dogs) but should probably not be in a home with children under 8. He has been receiving training and socialization and is ready for a new forever home. References and a home visit are REQUIRED. Adoption fee of $150 is also NON NEGOTIABLE.
